Elisa is originally from New Jersey and spent a wonderfully formulative decade living in Rome, Italy, studying then working as an apparel designer. Elisa eventually moved to Los Angeles, where she attended her first yoga class and instantly connected to the practice. Her 25 plus year practice has helped Elisa grow stronger, healthier, happier, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat.In deep appreciation for the teachings of yoga in her life,

Elisa felt compelled to become a yoga teacher and completed her 200 Hour Training through YogaWorks, with Hayleigh Zachary and her 300 Hour Training with Rina Jakubowicz. She is certified in The Yoga Remedy, and mentored with Dani Ibarra. She received her Yin Yoga certification from Bianca Fearon and Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky. She is an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist, and a Master Level Reiki Practitioner. She completed a Master in Subtle Body Training with Jeanne Heileman, and also studied and mentored with Danni Pomplun. Elisa is an E-RYT 500/YACEP, Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer.Elisa aims to guide her students to a place of balance, finding that sweet spot between control and surrender, pushing just enough, then knowing when to let go.

She is a forever student and is fascinated by body mechanics and how the subtlest of cues can change a student’s experience in a pose. Elisa’s classes combine creative sequencing, attention to alignment, a layering of the various modalities which she has studied, with a touch of inspiration to guide her students into finding their own place of peace, equilibrium, and joy.
